Virtual Rain Barrel Workshop

Seneca Lake Pure Waters Friendly Living Program is pleased to team up with Seneca County Soil & Water Conservation District and Ontario County Soil & Water Conservation District to bring you our first workshop to help learn Lake Friendly Living practices.

Installing a rain barrel is an easy way to protect our watershed and save money!  Your rain barrel will collect and store rainwater from your roof that would otherwise be lost to runoff and diverted to storm drains or streams.  The water you collect can be used for watering gardens and lawns, topping off swimming pools, cleaning outdoor furniture - the list goes on and on!

This virtual event will be held from 6-7 pm.  Participants will receive a link to the event after registering.
